Daradachs

Our story
A long time ago, the first dachshund appeared in our home, revealing what limitless love, loyalty and happiness are. Later on, in 2012, two young dachshund girls joined the family – Darka and Dorka, and this brought a profound change in our life, turning love into passion. They were not merely our beloved creatures and friends, they helped us discover a new world, the world of cynology. This is an overwhelming pastime that drives you on and on, reveals surprising particularities and capacities of these beloved creatures. In this way, I gradually built up a strong desire to create new generations with my young ladies, there had to be others like them and this would have to be done according to the rules, in a serious and planned way.
So, in 2015 I filled the necessary documents for registering the FCI kennel and since then my pastime has become a way of life. Twelve litters, three generations, one world winner, one world promise, five Interchampions, numerous BOB, BOG, BIS and championship titles of puppies born in the kennel - this is the 8-year history of our licensed FCI kennel DARADACHS.

Guarantee of Origin
We are proud of our dachshunds, our reputation as a responsible breeder is very important to us. Our goal, our mission is to create healthy generations of standard short-haired dachshunds, meeting the standards of the International Federation of Cynology, originating from proven parents of good temper and mild character. We carefully choose the most suitable male representatives of the breed in Europe for our future mothers so as to create the best generations. All of our genitors and their grandparents are high-rated dachshunds, champions of many countries, Interchampions and European winners, representatives of respected and proven blood lines. The puppies born in our kennel, possess a legitimate and recognized worldwide pedigree - certificate of origin, with all the representatives of their ancestors up to the 4th generation, this certificate being inscribed in the Book of origin of the Bulgarian Kennel Club DAKEL, endorsed in the Book of origin of the Bulgarian Republican Federation of Cynology which is a member of the FCI-International Federation of Cynology.

Our Dachshunds
We started this story with two young representatives of the breed - Darka and Dorka, the founders of the kennel. Both girls have been following their own way - trainings, learning, participation in dog exhibitions, awards and titles, to finally reach the age for creating a new generation. And the young generations came to life - the first one in 2016, followed by two others. And then their children gave birth to their own generations, the kennel’s second generation. Fathers were carefully studied and successfully contributed to achieving our main goal - preserving and improving the breed. Every next litter was, and we hopefully will be better than the previous one. We leave the most promising puppies in the kennel and today we have our own wonderful young mothers and fathers in co-ownership, in order to continue the development of the line we create. We are proud of their achievements, we are proud with the male standard and female miniature short-haired dachshunds purchased in Italy, and most of all with our two wonderful veteran-girls, thanks to which our kennel exists.

Perfect care
for our puppies
Our dogs are our passion and family, they live together with us, share our life and our interior and exterior space. The care for the new generations begins when they are still in the womb of the mother - pregnancy is actively supervised by a veterinary obstetrician. Before giving birth, we isolate mothers and their future babies in separate rooms with light, fresh air and heating, for a period of time long enough for the puppies to strengthen physically. Then we start working on their socialization, processes in which we all take part - people and dachshunds in our kennel. The puppies are fed with high quality target food, to which we add vitamins and special dietary supplements for proper development and strengthening of the bones and the musculoskeletal system. Puppies leave the native home after 2.5 months of age, with all vaccines, chipped, with a veterinary certificate. The dachshunds are healthy, sociable, with a balanced character and wonderful behavior.

Participation in exhibitions
Our Dachshunds have been present at national and international dog exhibitions since the beginning of 2013 and after obtaining the license of the kennel this pastime has become a serious occupation. We brought out the first Bulgarian dachshund multi and Interchampion - Darka, the creator of our DARADACHS line. Dachshund puppies born in our kennel or brought here whether they are our own property or the property of our loyal friends. We work step by step and carefully, with a development plan for each one of our dogs viewed as very promising. Today, the kennel prides itself on its numerous champions and multichampions, one World Winner, one World Promise, five Interchampions, with dozens of victories of our dachshunds in comparison among the breed, among the group and on the highest level - the most beautiful dog of the exhibitions. It is our exclusive responsibility and honor to possess and to be the creators of the only Bulgarian Dachshunds - Interchampions, created in Bulgaria - IntCh Piccoli Rubini Dara (Darka), her daughters IntCh Daradachs Arianna (Arka) and IntCh Daradachs Anastasia (Nastia), her granddaughter and World champion WW’21BOB IntCh Daradachs Elisabeth Shue, her great grandson World Promise and multi junior champion Daradachs Harry Houdini.
